Artslam is about getting into your art and learning about yourself in the process.
Featuring young people doing:
Stand Up Comedy
Performance Poetry
Islamic Calligraphy exhibition
Rap and Hip Hop performances

Guest Speakers and performers including Lyn Collingwood from Home and Away, plus “Changing LIVES” film screening. And the Faces of Sydney Photographic Exhibition

Changing Lives Launch

Where: Lennox Theatre, Parramatta Riverside Theatres, Church Street, Parramatta

Be the first to experience these powerful shorts, made as part of the Changing Lives video blogging project. In this phase of the project, Iraqi young women from Western Sydney will screen digital stories created as part of their video blogs. Meet the video-makers as they share their stories of harrowing journeys by boat to Australia, their time in detention, stories of longing for family left behind, and dreams of future lives in a new land.

The films screen prior to our closing night feature, Underexposure.
